Music...Tal Wilkenfeld....what a bass player !

Jeff Beck strikes again ! I don't know why Beck attracts the finest bandmates in the world but he does. Every time I see him on television there are absolutely great musicians backing him.

Of all his great band mates Tal Wilkenfeld impresses me the most. The first time I saw Tal, she was playing bass with Jeff on one of his PBS specials.

I could not believe my eyes or ears. She stole the show. I had to call my old running buddy in Arkadelphia. Unfortunately for me he one upped me once again. He knew all about Tal, dang it.

She is one of the most creative "side ladies or men" I have ever heard. This first cut with Beck is a prime example of her improvisational abilities.

The amazing part is she is so, so young. Heck, she looks 14 and plays like 55.
